Re: Wolverine 1000 Mile boots

Looks like they are $325 retail.... Nice boots, but out of my price range.

Re: Aldens with dress pants

So let me explain why I wanted such a pic in the first place.. I need a new pair of brown shoes to wear to work, so I have been on the lookout for a basic pair of brown shoes kind of like the black cap toe Johnston & Murphy's I bought about 8 years ago. http://www.johnstonmurphy.com/produc...

Re: Aldens with dress pants

Not the best pics (I'm actually telling my daughter to stop playing with the camera in this one) but it shows I'm wearing my AB Aldens with dark brown suit pants. I had been wearing the jacket and tie earlier, so I'm of the opinion that these work. I've also worn my brickish colored Aldens with a d...

Umbrella

Hello All, quick question for you. I am in the market for a new Umbrella and was curious if anyone had a suggestion. The Brigg Umbrella is great, but being a father of 3, 400 dollars is not in the budget for an umbrella. I had one I purchased from Restoration Hardware several years ago, it was great...

One more thing, I figured for as much as I paid, I would get a really cool top of the line case. Wrong.... Cheap case..

I have a pair of Tommy Bahama glasses that cost about 100 bucks. They came with a really cool fake alligator skin case.

Berkshire Chase could have done so much better...

Those sound pretty cool. Do you make this type of thing often?
I love wearing cufflinks but generally only wear sterling silver knots or maybe navy silk knots, but those would be pretty cool.

If you get them made post some pictures

Well, I dont have any of the "signature" Indy gear yet like the hat or jacket. I did purchase some LL Bean shirts after researching on the internet and stumbling upon this site. I have always liked Safari style clothing and would like to get an adventure built hat next or possibly some ald...

Unfortunately I do not own a hat yet. All of this is kind of new to me. I’ve always liked safari type clothing and thought I was the only crazy one out there, until I stumbled upon this board. I have been reading the posts for a few weeks, trying to educate myself on the pros and cons of various pro...

Laptop bag replacement

Question for you all. I carry a laptop to work and am getting tired of the standard black bag my company provided. Any Ideas for a replacement that looks more rugged?

Thanks

I bought a pair just like this, used a razor blade to start removing the stiches, then i carefully pulled the stiching out and sliced off the leather flap as close to the glove seam as possible. I think they look great, and the holes can hardly be seen after a little use.

New Jacket

Hello all, I’m new here, been reading the posts for a while and finally decided to join. The cool thing about this forum is that a lot of you seem to be lovers of “adventure wear” like myself. In fact I just got a new jacket from J crew that is kind of cool. I post this pic from the catalogue I do n...
