From what I've been told the plastic cover are about as bad for a hat as the rain. I think they're just pressed like that after they're finished sewing them, no reason why you shouldn't be able to remove the creases.

Here is an update, took a while to get a photo taken of my jacket on me. Taken indoors, so that's why it looks almost black - the circular spot in the pic shows the leather colour in the sun. Fascinating how the lighting works on the leather. That's also a Wested shirt, flash really bleached it some...

I agree with Feraud there. They're pretty darn good trousers, I just got a pair along with an Indy shirt from them about three days ago. I've found some surgical spirit (?rubbing alcohol?) put on blisters helps them harden into tougher skin. Popping blisters gives me the creeps, although from time to time you have to :x

Did you see whether or not the hats you were trying on were "regular oval"? Sometimes, when a 7 5/8 regular oval just won't fit right, a 7 5/8 long oval might have a better shot. Again, a little stretching isn't that bad also. Regards, I read the labels and none of them mentioned anything...
