Re: My New Bapty & Inglis at the Raven!!
Aloha! Amazing collection, I'm so impressed - especially considering the paperwork involved with firearms ownership in HI. My wife and I are actually going to be in Oahu for 2 1/2 weeks or so starting the end of September. Look for our plane's red trail in the sky as we touch down in PHNL (moving th...

Dekker, I think we may have bought from the same guy on ebay. Mine is identical to yours. 8) Who is your eBay contact? I had a bad experience with a seller on eBay last year who took my money and never sent me the bag, or answered my emails - and yet he continues to sell on eBay. Serves me right fo...

I've bought a couple of bags from this guy - he's a good chap to do business with. I must've exhanged about twenty emails with him last time - gettting him to check the thickness and colour of the fabric of each bag. He was very helpful and I've never seen such fantastic condition bags. Thought I'd...

Oh, I just LOVE how the belt matches the handbag and the pant legs. Ooo, and the leopard print hatband is to DIE for. This is accessorizing at its best.  I’m sorry. I’ll go whip myself with a long screen accurate white rope. :notworthy: That is one of the funniest things I've read today!

Re: Disappointing HJ Visit
Sorry about your visit - I've been there myself and had exactly the same experience. Ditto for me, when I went three or four weeks ago. My visit was disappointing and at best I left feeling dejected - didn't seem like they cared much if I bought anything or not. I do agree about the stacks of hats,...

From what I've been told the plastic cover are about as bad for a hat as the rain. Personally, I'd rather get my hat wet or not wear it as opposed to wearing one of those goofy rain covers.  Darn good point there, and since my hat is (well it's on it's way to me) a pure beaver felt AB,...

The Goatskin is good, my Raiders jacket was expertly fashioned from it and it's fantastic. Thank you for your reply! :D One last question, if I may: When you order, are there different colors to choose from or when you order the pants, do they simply come as one standard color? Kind Regards, Captain D As far as I know you only get the standard colour. As for sizing, I just went for my no...

Here is an update, took a while to get a photo taken of my jacket on me. Taken indoors, so that's why it looks almost black - the circular spot in the pic shows the leather colour in the sun. I agree with Feraud there. They're pretty darn good trousers, I just got a pair along with an Indy shirt from them about three days ago. There's nothing I don't like about them, in fact if they had them in more colours I'd replace all my work trousers with them. *UPDATE* Here is a photo taken...

Re: If HJ does improve their standards, would you buy from t
Pretty straight foreward. Thanks to the Avaitor, it looks like HJ may be about to make some drastic improvements on the quality of their product. (see this post: http://www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=13267 ) So. If HJ were to improve their product, would you be interested in buying a hat from...
