Re: Sleeve width too wide.
You know what, I cant really tell. None of my jackets are OTRs, I always need about 2" chopped off the sleeves so I dont know that the cuff measure is. I tend to ask for an across the cuff measure. Usually tho, even if I didn't ask for an across the cuff, ie in a Standard Raiders or the Temple,...

Wested will adjust sleeve width too, just give them the cuff across measure. Elbow too if you want.
But look at the temple entrance scene, the sleeves themselves may be wider then you think.

On an interesting note, I bought an Indy Jacket from Five Star Leather as I recognised the pattern as a mid 80s Indy but couldnt remember the maker it was patterned after, pretty sure it's the Flightjackets pattern. I found the Legacy Raiders quite resistant to the scotchbrite. Eventually I resorted to soapy water and wet and dry sandpaper!
It remains the firmest feeling lamb I've had out of many jackets, it almost feels like goat.

TBH with the way the £ has tanked I don't blame them. Buying from overseas sellers will be equally more expensive because of the poor exchange rate, it's a lose-lose if you are a £ customer. You don't. The straps are shorter on all the jackets now. I see Wested have just put their prices up. Hero in...

I bought one of the seconds shirts in M. Size is correct for European medium, though probably on the short side on the length on the arms and body. It fits snugly, though I could do with losing a few pounds. The buttons as noted are too big, I'll need to swap them out. The weight of the fabric remin...

I wouldn't subtract anything. If they come out too long, wear them a bit and see if the arms ride up a bit with wear and wrinkling, then get them altered locally. You can get sleeves shortened, but it's almost impossible to get them lengthened.

Be careful with the sleeves, they sound a little short to me, best double check. You can live with slightly long sleeves, but you'll hate slightly short ones. A lot of leather repair kits are a backing piece, then you fill the tear with what is essentially coloured PVA and then cover it with a textured piece of plastic to mimic the grain when it dries it's supposed to blend in with the leather. I've no idea if they actually work, and the pactch will likel...

That back image of the jacket is facinating, so much tape pucker especially around the strap anchors.
That's a detail I love, wish jacket makers could reproduce that at least as an option. I wonder if it was a combo of mesh support tape and cow gum that produced that?

Yes, Wested's OTR CS/LC jacket as they call it is their submission to LFL. It's not accurate to Tony's CS jacket that appears in the film. One thing I would suggest is don't go too short on the sleeves, you can always get sleeve shortened but extending is pretty much impossible and sleeves that are too short on an Indy jacket are a pain. At 5.7 you may find the standard length on a hero suits you for day to day wear, a slightly long ja...
