Ahah, what an approrpiate manufacturer's name. I never came across one. I would like to add it to my first post but for some reason when I go edit it doesn't leave the full links intact and I don't want to lose them, it would be nuts to find them all again.

Lanyard disc replacement for MKVII bags?
A friend of mine asks if anyone makes/sells a replica of the disc that one finds on the side of the gas mask bags. Not necessarily a replica, even an original, whatever comes cheaper. I have no idea where to find one and if they are even sold by anyone, so I ask the forum. Can these discs be bought ...

I join the bandwagon of suggesting originals because I have yet to see an excellent screen accurate reproduction and for the price gap between reproductions and original ones I would always choose the latter. Unless you need it for a "casual" costume, an authentic WWII bag is full of chara...

Are you sure your hat didn't shrink of a size or more? Brim distorsions are often caused by undersized hats (especially if the brim looks normal when laying on a shelf), it's the typical situation you get after wetting a Christy's badly.

I see... well HD then
I thought it was the Blue-ray because the blue-ray in Italy is going to have a new dubbing (for which Italian fans are quite angry with Lucas) and Sky had this high quality version with new dubbing... therefore I assumed it was blue-ray.

Re: How did Indy roll his sleeves up?
The shirt in the film was made-to-measure and the sleeves seems to be quite fitting. This is how the rolling up works. If the sleeves of your shirt don't have a similar fit to the ones Ford wore you won't achieve a similar effect. Also if the material is not the same you won't achieve the same effec...

I'm curious to know how wide that ribbon really is. I'm sure Erri is betting 43mm. I will hopefully be able to get it worked out within a millimetre or 2. My take is that most of you are in between sizes that's why some have snug fits and for others are too big. BendingOak is right, have your head measured by someone else and properly (he has a good video on how to do that on youtube). I'm 59cm and 59cm Christy's fits me just nicely, if it doesn't it ...

Christys do generally taper on round heads (perhaps that's why it works so well on my long oval melon and not always great on other people), there isn't much that you can do about it I'm afraid.
