The Model 22 of 1917 is a reissue of the post war guns made from 1946-1950, which originated from the original Model of 1917. I think the only differences between the original two are the year and the grips, and of course no US Army stamps.

Like many shops of quality work and product, it is not very impressive in appearance so do not expect a great showplace. Try to get a look at the back room with all of the old blocks and working areas then you'll see it is for real.

Great bag! That is until you step on and break the plastic quick release buckle (which I've done) and end up with a useless strap. Hat's direct also orders occasional runs of the Bushman without the eyelets and with the wider ribbon. They are not listed on the website, but if you email them they will tell you more. They'll even send pics. It is a special order item.

Yes it will hold a 1917 with an uncut barrel. The trigger guard is just below the edge of the holster and the flap will easily cover the grip.
