Good looking Akubra

That looks just like my Akubra, which has served me very well since I received it some time ago. I wore it recently in a Christmas parade that my scout son took part in. I was one of the parent volunteers who walked and sometimes jogged by the floats. Indy Jacket and Fedora accompanied me.

brin ironing success

Ironed my brim just now on wool setting with cotton cloth barier, as per Michaelson. Will post pictures from work tomorrow. My server there is superfast, while the home connection seems to be run by hamster power.

I think I have a combo raiders swoop, last crusade look

huskers coming on the 9th

my huskers will be delivered on the 9th. I ordered 11s as the sizing chart dictated that size, but am getting nervous. Wonder if I am really 10.5. Really depends ont he shoe for me this is ridiculous

LL Bean shirts are back!

Folks, the LL Bean field shirts are back. You have to search for them. They also appear prominently in their new fly fishing catalog, which I received yesterday.

Of course, the bad news is they are no longer 18 bucks. Back to 39.

It appears that the field shirt was NOT discontinued at LL Bean. Search for "field shirt" and it comes up. A lot of the sizes and such are backordered "due to heavier than anticipated desire" for the product.

What effect if any would daily wiping down a wested lamb with a wet washcloth have? I'd like to distress, mildly, my jacket and like that look, but don't want to hasten its imminent decline by overdoing it.

I cannot tell you all how simple it was to dye a tan web belt dark brown. I wear the thing every day--no bleeding whatsoever. Rit brown dye and use the stove top method. simple as pie!
