saved from injury by Wested horse

I was using a table saw to cut an aluminum panel for a prop project. I finish the cut, turn off the saw and wait for the blade to stop spinning before trying to remove the piece. It moved on its own. The blade caught it a microsecond after I cut power and threw it into my abdomen at great force. Her...

Have you tried RIT color remover? It worked wonders on my old Noel Howard. I had the same bleach problem with a WPG shirt whose original color I didn't like for some reason. 1989. I was making an Indy spoof as a sort of self-imposed college senior project, and for months was on the hunt for close-enough gear. Finally settled on a jacket at Burlington Coat Factory. I was aware of the cuffs issue, but could not find a jacket without them. 1989: http://i77.photobucket.com/...

I have a pair and love them, but I reserve them for when I'm geared up. They should last me years.

That's why some versions of the jacket have press studs. ;)

I think it's because the part of the zipper, the unseen part where it is stitched to the jacket, proceeds lower than the bottom of the metal portion. That extra bit below it helps secure the zipper and keeps it from tearing free.
