Rusty Jones I have those same boots from Sears. Wear em almost everyday to work. I think its a good-looking inexpensive Alden alternate. The Land's End ones don't look bad either.

I have no trouble switching between a Cubs cap and a fedora. I like them all. Besides a cap looks better with shorts and a t-shirt when doing the yardwork IMO.

Then again if we are looking at a twenty-five year old catalog that has been buried in a garage. Can we be certain that the ink and paper are in the same condition as when the pages were printed? Do we need to account for color loss or color shift if the pages are a number of years old?

Yes Tandy Leather does have a website. www.tandyleather.com. They do sell leather dye. I've dyed a couple of leather belts and some old leather pouches. You might try that on your gloves. I don't know how it will work to dye over yellow though.

I dunno about the weight of the shirt, but the problem for me is the elbow patches. I don't need that. Its too bad. It was almost a nice cotton complement to their safari shirts.

I think the jacket needs to be checked for any DNA samples left behind from Mr. Ford or from the stunt crew. Maybe then you might have some basis for this jacket being a hero jacket or stunt. I don't even know if that is possible after 20 years.

I do not use my bag all the time either, but I just got back from vacation in Arizona and used the MK VII to hold all my toiletries. I wanted all that stuff with me in case the airline lost my checked bag.

What does everyone think of wearing their Fed. with shorts in the summer? I'm headed to Phoenix for a wedding and vacation next month and have been watching the temps soar lately out there to well over 100 degrees. I know I'll be wearing shorts most of the time, but I want to wear my fedora as well....
