Re: How do you deal with waiting on a jacket?

I just find other things to occupy my time. Read comics, watch runs of tv shows, exercise, etc. I'm waiting on a Doctor Who coat from Magnoli at present, so trust me, I need the distraction! [emoji28]

Thanks for the tip, Michaelson. I know better than to go against your advice by now. ;) :M: Otherwise, I'd be hiding under the Plymouth!

Thanks, all! It is magic, isn't it, Duck? It's still curing now. I gave it a light buffing, but I like letting the stuff soak in on its own. I might even go over it again. :p

Re: Jacket distressing TIPS

My advice on distressing is that less is more. Start very small and work your way up. The first jacket that I ever distressed I almost ruined. I went way overboard. No, there are no pics. It looked like a tiger had clawed the sleeves of my jacket and left claw marks. Fortunately for me a round of br...

Recently, my buddy Ben (fifthchamber) decided to distress his jacket, which made me want to restore mine. Here's some shots. Albums ahead, decent sized shots, so be warned. Mods, I apologize ahead of time if I'm doing this wrong. before: http://imgur.com/a/7qh9c" onclick="window.open(this....

I started out on Minnesota Jones's 6-footer. My IOAB is an 8, but due to learning on those, I can work a 10 just fine. I agree with the 6-8 foot recommendation.

Shoe MGK on my Red Wings

I bought this product at a mall from a salesman years ago called Shoe MGK. I've been using it on my Red Wings ever since, but the effectiveness of the product has never been more noticeable than now. After a pipe in the front yard broke, I had to help dig a trench to isolate it and fix it so the hou...
