Re: Whats the difference between Nowark and Wested jackets ?
Caber, it won't matter...given enough time, you'll own both. :D Seriously, You will be the only one who will know if it's right for you. I have two westeds and one of Tony's, I love them all, but because I live in Los Angeles and tend to be warm all the time I wear my Todd's thinner jacket more than...

Re: Cafe Racer Indy
Castor, No offense taken :) I've also thought there plenty of great cafe racer jacket styles. I have 6 cafe racers but they all tend to be the same in the back. What made me start thinking about the Indy jacket as a cafe racer was the side panels. I'd like to see the Indy jacket with zippers on the ...

Cafe Racer Indy
Lately I've been looking for the perfect cafe racer leather jacket. I've inherited a few from family and I really like them. I love the style but these jackets are heavy and made for wearing while riding. I've been searching for an old thread that, if I may correctly, someone had asked Wested to mak...

It was great to talk to you at the Queen Mary and the Fort. You are a true gentleman. I hope to talk to you soon about a jacket.
Have you had time to look around the forum?

Great jacket G. Thanks for posting the pics and your story. I wish I had kept up with your earlier posts. It would have been nice to meet up and buy you a drink. So when are you coming back down for your next jacket? When you get a chance, I'd like to see some outdoor shots of the jacket.

Eastman A2
With all this talk about A2 leather jackets recently I decided to check out what was available. I really Like Rundquists. The color and the texture is very classic. Good eye. Close but no cigar. His jakcet has the side straps but there's no action pleats or pockets in the front. I've seen a black and white pic of him in that jacket recently and also thought it was an Indy jacket. I wonder if he would feel silly wearing what people would see as a costume from on...

The VF 17 is one nice looking jacket. The goat looks great. I also love the color. Those patches are pretty cool as well. The Jacket is actually a M-422a or a (G-1). VF-17 (Jolly Rogers) was actually a Navy squadron that flew Corsairs during WW2. Cheers Thanks for clearing that up for me. It's like...

I've noticed that a slightly large hat won't cause Hat-hair. I try not to wear the larger hat during the Santa Ana win...
