Okay, so I'm wondering about the wested sizing. I wear a 34-35 inch sleeve in dress shirts. How would I compare? Can anyone give me an idea?

I'm guessing that the size they refer to is from the seam down, but I really don't know how to figure it.

Having some success with #3 over the last few days, but am noticing that when the popper comes off using #3, it typically takes part of the fall with it, which is not admirable.

I'll keep experimenting...

I ordered yesterday, and got my shipped confirmation today.
Can't wait. I've got to see about the size, as shirts fit me oddly, and I have really long arms (Though I usually keep my Indy shirts rolled up).

Anyway, anxiously awaiting it's arrival, along with a couple of web-belts.

I have been using a tie similar to Method #1,
But have had problems.
I think I'll try #3 next time.
Right now, I have a whip without a popper, just because I haven't gotten around to replacing it.

Well, "I got it and I used it!" :D
I went to Boston (a long way from Tennessee) to pick up a car.
And I put my toothbrush, socks, etc. in the bag and instead of carrying a suitcase into the hotel, I carried my MK VII instead. Works great.

I just received my MK VII and it came with the original web strap. I think it is sewed onto the bag, or at least I can't figure out how to get it off.
Is there any way to get the original strap off without cutting it, or damaging it?

IndyMcFly, more than likely, the wind is causing the knots in the fall.
When I practice with an ever so light breeze, I end up getting knots.

I just watched it. It seems that the first crack (the half-second of a scene) is an overhand (or, as Mike Murphy calls it "The Flick"). And the second - the one you are asking about - looks like the crack that Alex Green describes on "Whipcracking part 1", you swing it around you...

I have a Joe Strain 6' Indy style, and a Australian style 8'.
I usually end up cracking for about 30 minutes to an hour, and the 8 footer gets so heavy, so I enjoy a lighter weight whip.

I got my first whip in about Oct-Nov of '03.
And my second in Dec of '03
I'm 15, now, and can do the Circus, Overhand, Sidearm, Horizontal, am fairly good at the 'S' Crack, Target cutting, etc.

I already have Whip Cracking made easy part 1 and 2.
