Hey, those buttons even look good on mini props!
My wife wanted to borrow a few for a baby sweater she was making for as a gift
Now if I can just get her to make me a full size SA cardigan

Re: HOLT'S MYSTERY OF THE BLUES* Builders thread
I like the way the buttons look. I think the 25mm's would be too big for this sweater. Maybe go to a 23mm if you're really desperate. And I think the darker scarf is to camel'ly (brown) The lighter one I think is closer, maybe a bit too light, but bad. Don't forget, we're comparing these to lowish r...

Never tried the truck trick, so can’t really say.
The lamp trick definitely works for small adjustments, and I think better than foam.
Just watch it.

Sewing in a new band for that small of a difference is not worth it in my book. I’d go to the lampshade trick. Not in a position to search this right now, but basically, wet the band down, and put the hat on top of a lampshade (with an incadencant bulb) And then watch it. It’s low enough heat to shr...

Nothing like good old fashion real dirt.
Make a small batch of mud and either let the bag sit in it or dap it around where you want to be be dirty.
There's no real science to it. It just how exactly do you want it to look, and play around.
That's the fun part of all this.
