Re: Unsuccessful search....

Give the man a prize...DR Ulloa, That is exactly the one I had in mind. Where did you find it? I tried searching all sorts of ways but never could find this particular one. The old memory isn't what it used to be. Thanks again to everyone. Regards, Williamson.

Re: Unsuccessful search....

That is a good one but not the one I had in mind. For some reason I was thinking that it was a collage of screen shots from Raiders showing the hat from all the different scenes and angles. It was one of those threads someone spent a lot of time putting together so that folks could customize their o...

Unsuccessful search....

Hey there folks...Does anyone happen to remember when, where or who it was that posted the collage comprising multiple headshots of Indy wearing his fedora and where I can find those images? I seem to recall seeing this here on the forum but have not been able to find it under the search option. Tha...

I have had my pair for about 2 years now and I noticed early on that I felt fatigue in the arch and heel. The orthopeadic specialist cut me a pair of foam insoles but after wearing them a few weeks I noticed that the cushioning effect was not as good. I then swapped out a pair of insoles that I had ...

Your bullwhip looks great and I am sure that you will enjoy it! As far as the large knob that I had put on mine.......have to give credit where credit is due.....Joe Strain is responsible for how the knob on my JS turned out. I wanted my whip to have a certain look and I had always liked the way the...

Seems the sizing dilemma is a common concern with everyone. I too wasn't sure what to do either when getting ready to purchase my Aldens. There is an ortho. shoe store in a neighboring city. I wear a 10D in all of my shoes as well and asked about the 1/2 size up or down rule and the gentleman who wa...

Are they also called "carpet bag"? I have seen this type of bag during many treks to antique malls and shops. If it is the stye that I am thinking of, isn't it covered with a heavy printed material with rounded leather loop handles? Michaelson, is this the type that you are referring to? R...

Sizing question....

When I ordered my FS Expo I also opted for the standard size which is what they try to fit you in if possible. According to their chart, I was in between sizes as well.......My measurements met the chart sizes for everything except the waist measurement and to me that was not that big of a problem. ...

A comment on the wristwatch......

This may be archived somewhere and if this is a repeat, my apologies. In the video, Great Movie Stunts & The Making of ROTLA there is a scene where Harrison Ford and Speilberg or walking through a scene trying to get the timing right as he avoids the Nazi patrol and ducks into the tent where Mar...

Hi thre Flash, I recently took the plunge and purchased a pair of Aldens and had the same concerns about sizing. Just the standard 8 foot length..

I decided to go with an 8 footer. I have had several 10 foot bullwhips in years past but wanted something different that would be a bit more versatile and yet still maintain the Indy-look on a belt. Down the road, I may order one in a 10 foot length but for now I am quite satisfied with my choice. I...

That's where I found them..

Sergei, That is exactly where I picked up mine. I had often wondered if that style was even close and after having them sewn on my shirt I felt like it captured the look I was looking for. Though I know the purist collector will frown, my Indy-style shirt was made from two of the shirts I obtained a...
