Re: Wested Leather - Build Quality Query

They reckon a Last Crusade is bigger for the more barrel-like gentleman and so I’ve gone with that.

Re: Wested Leather - Build Quality Query

So I got put off…. I emailed Wested to talk about what I was after, but their reply was so short and uninterested that I just wasn’t feeling it. I’ve had those sorts of experiences before and ignored my doubts and lived to regret it, so I’m going to learn my lesson. No judgement of Wested, I’m sure ...

Re: Wested Leather - Build Quality Query

That’s very helpful, thank you.

I’ll have a scan of the usual places to see if I can find a second hand one to take a punt on. I can’t even find always buy a new one if it passes the audition.

Wested Leather - Build Quality Query

So I’m after a leather jacket and I’m looking at options. I started off wanting a US Wings Indy, but then looked at the postage costs (c. $150 for overseas shipping) and then imagined the import tax bill (it’ll be another three figures)…. so that pretty much rules that out. Shame, because I’ve read ...

Re: The Herbert Johnson Hall of Fame - A Display Thread

Evening forum…. So I ordered my Raiders Herbert Johnson Fedora on 22AUG23 and got an email today to tell me that it’s ready for me to collect at the store. Took three months… given my expectations were set at six, I’d say that’s good going.

I’ll let you know when I get it….

Re: The Herbert Johnson Hall of Fame - A Display Thread

Ok….. so I like to go all in….. not long after I ordered the Herbert Johnson Fedora, I ordered an AdVintage also. To be honest, I wanted a beaver felt hat so now, I’m getting both… hopefully I see one this side of Christmas.

Re: All of the "Close Enough" Boots?

I saw these at the C&J local to me… they were very, very nice… https://www.crockettandjones.com/products/indiana-darkbrown-roughoutsuede 'Rough out suede'; I'm not sure I've come across that but they look very cool. I wonder how they possibly came up with their name for that boot design? :D It’...

Re: The Herbert Johnson Hall of Fame - A Display Thread

Morning all, I started reading this forum to get a view as to the Herbert Johnson Poet hats - the release of ‘The Dial of Destiny’ rekindled my love of Indiana Jones. I’d been interested in a hat for quite some time and done an ungodly amount of internet surfing to fuel that interest (something it s...
