Re: Indy gear from Karolian Dry Goods
I've received my trousers. These are my first pair of Indy trousers ever! KDG has been nothing but an amazing vendor. I've purchased my DOD shirt and web belt from him as well. I had no idea that Indy pants would have this sort of weight. I have had suits tailored before but never something ...

Over 8 year old US Wings jacket
Hey all, Been a long long time since I posted and I keep telling myself that I would share this one day. In 2011, I bought a US Wings Indy jacket. It was their "Legend" model, imported, antique cowhide. I bought it because I wasn't happy with my Wested jacket that I had purchased which was...

I agree with a lot of what has been said. But I want to point something out. Are you asking $900 for it? How long is the whip? Because a new 8 footer is just $860. A 10 footer is only $1,015. And as mentioned, it is not from David Morgan and a used whip to make matters worse. But especially agree wi...

I would seriously contact Wested first before you made any decisions. Stop wearing it and don't alter it. If you ordered brown and actually got black, that is there fault and should be remedied. I can't help but wonder if you were accidentally sent the wrong jacket.

Are you sure that is Ford to begin with? The hair down the sides and the face leads me to believe it may be a stunt double? Based upon that video, it's hard to determine the length of the whip. If the video was from the side, it may be easier to determine. However, that crack is the overhead crack. ...

I really like what I see, particularly the colors! But I'm a little lost on your terminology. "Aussie style" bullwhip is a bit loose but typically it means a long handled bullwhip that is light (for sport cracking) and lacks a wrist loop. Why not call it something like an American bullwhip?

Ditto Riku.
Are you putting a leather conditioner on it when it begins to get dry? If not, you'll destroy your fall really quick. Also, how new are you to whip cracking? Part of it may be unavoidable because your technique will be really rough if you aren't well seasoned.

It's part of the whips character. I remember a Morgan from 1989 being posted on here. It was never used and still had the original fall and popper. That whip was incredibly dark to the point that you'd think it was originally brandy or whiskey. http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6081/6103713527_2c83ba2e...
