Re: (Close Enough) Raiders Pocket Knife

This might not be the best place to put this, but since it's active I'll drop it here. I have a Linder that the locking bar (IDK knife terminology...it's the long piece of metal on the back of the knife with the locking tab) inexplicably broke in half. Anyone know anyplace that does knife repair? I...

Re: (Close Enough) Raiders Pocket Knife

I know it's a small piece of gear but I wish it had made it into more films. I have the same opinion of the gloves too.

Re: The EXPLORADOR fedora - photo gallery

Roberto, did a fantastic job on these two. I wanted a cleaner look on the 36 because I wanted it to age naturally and requested a more worn look on the 35. Couldn't be happier with the quality and the fit of both hats. :TOH: Got into Full kit today (minus the satchel, no idea where that is currentl...

Yes just at the very base, have found it useful. It is very fine serration too.

(Close Enough) Raiders Pocket Knife

Came across this knife in sporting goods store near me that does some consignment on guns and knives. I knew when I saw it, it wasn't exactly SA to the Raiders knife but it's the closest I've ever seen and it's a nice knife. It's a Puma and made in Germany from what I could find it was made around 1...

Re: The Federation IV Display Page

I will add about the resilience of this hat. It doesn't really look like it but I have abused this hat alot more than it deserves lol. I have sat on it, rolled it up, stuff it in my duffle bag and it pops back to life everytime. I'm in the process of getting a Steel and Jones and can't wait to have ...

Oh very nice "Indy bag props" working in getting these together. Trying to find a good brush and head piece.

Re: The Federation IV Display Page

Had my fed 4 for a while now. It's definitely a resilient hat and only looks better with age. I will post better picture (different lighting) when I get the time. But I thought it looked nice in that light.

It is the otr Wested and yes it was bought new a few months ago. Sort of wishing I had gone with the hero to be honest...which I might do here soon.

Looking for Feedback: Lightly Aged, Raiders, Goat, Wested.

I bought this jacket a few months ago and tried to fight the artificial distress bug...and I made it this far so...I guess that's better than nothing...baby steps. However, I went very easy because I wanted that not overly weathered idol grab, Raiders look. So I'm interested in your opinion, should ...

Changing hat band on Akubra fed 4???

Thinking of changing out the standard hat band for a darker if not completely black one. Thoughts and opinions on this? Anyone ever given it a go before? :-k

Thanks

Re: budget kangaroo whip? better believe it.

So I'm new and late to this thread but couldn't resest a comment. I bought the same whip about a year ago and the photo attached is after much use and some regular leather conditioner application. Not the best whip I have ever bought but it's a great whip for someone who wants to crack and learn and...

It's the big moment we see the staff of Ra used and it's never cosplayed (I'm sure it's been done, so I should say hardly done.)

Indy's Map Room Digger Disguise - Raiders

Anyone ever done this impression before, or know if anyone who reproduces the items for this? Thought it might be a fun cosplay at least. Also never seen anyone do this and always thought it was pretty neat look, kind of has a Lawrence of Arabia feel.

Re: Cowboy Curl

My favorite hat style for the longest time was how the brim is curled in the Ravenwood bar scene in Raiders. It disappears fast but when he first walks in it's the tightest of any hat style. In fact how he wears his gear in that scene has always appealed to me. Only time I can think of we see the ja...
