I do think that he seems to look noticeably fitter, and even younger, in the interview in the Making Doc than he does in the film(!), so the explanation about recovery from his injury may well be right.

I do love my Novapelle; it's not like a screen-used jacket, but just has a lovely feel to it.
I was watching the Dungeons & Dragons film, and Chris Pine's jacket in that looked quite similar I thought.

Re: Herbert Johnson DoD

Yeah I think the reason for tweaks to the costume would very likely have been in order to suit Ford as he is now (although I guess that doesn't quite explain why the prologue costume looks off!). I tend to think the more tapering hat is most likely because he's lost a bit of weight in the face and n...

John Nathan Turner. I don't know if it was a screen-used or not, but you'd imagine he wouldn't have too many HJs about the house :) It was surprisingly small in the crown, huge in the brim!

I have a standard (so this is the non-film 'streetwise' version) 40" Raiders in lamb from about six or so years ago I guess. Pit to pit seems like 22" when laid out with the zip done up (although I always have trouble measuring these things: you can stretch it out to 23" or so) and sh...
