I think this one may be the hardest to replicate yet! :) I agree haha! At the same time, so far this jacket seems to have the most story in it (aesthetic wise). Raiders body with the collar and d rings of last crusade. Plus, if you look closely, it has the bullet hole stitched on the left arm. So i...

Re: Wested Boots Sizing Help
Right? A boot that is over about $200 should NOT be using fiber board on the midsole. For something cheap and easy, sure, why not. But a boot at that price should not be using material that can fall apart with one soaking. And I'm with you on the resoling, but that can get pretty expensive as well....

Re: Wested Boots Sizing Help
I actually prefer the 360 welt. The heel feels more stable plus it's a simpler resole. The 270 welt with the heel rand is more complicated and can sometimes produce a weak point in the welt at the ends. And as much as I love my Aldens, there are some cost cutting aspects I wish they'd improve. A $6...

Re: Wested Boots Sizing Help
I'm thinking about getting some wested adventure boots but I am thinking twice due to the sizing.
(US sizing)
Sneakers: 8-8.5 (usually 8.5)
Leather shoes and boots: 7
Does this mean that an 8US would do or getting a 9US would be too big?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the never ending rabbit hole! As someone who is at the shorter side as well (I'm around 5'2-5'3 feet), I'd say it's best to go for the custom than the off the rack sizing. Im usually a 44 but the hero is a tighter fit so I went one size up. Two reasons for that. Wow, that looks beautiful! The undertone might turn into the russet color once you lightly condition it. I’ve never had a Wested yet and this really has me tempted! Just drives me crazy that the shortest sleeve is 23” when I likely will need a 22 or 22.5” sleeve custom.
