I believe these are the ones I have. I had the lenses replaced with my prescription, but they come with standard bluelight lenses. Edited to add: I swapped the temples out for gold cable temples. Repaint…with something durable.

Mine has been sitting in the holster in storage for years, and the paint has started to come off, revealing the zinc.

Not sure if rebluing would actually work on the low quality metal.

Put some newspaper all around inside the sweatband to decrease the size until it fits. Bonus points if you find a newspaper from 1936 for cheap and use that.

I would suggest that the easier course of action would be the "reputable tailor" route. While I'm sure Peter would make things right (as any business owner should...not to speak for him, though), it might be simpler and cheaper to take it local than send it all the way back to the UK.

Looking at both pics, it does NOT appear to be the same pistol. To me, it appears that in the 2nd pic, the muzzle of the barrel protrudes from slide a bit, and in the first pic it appears to be flush with the slide.

Is this a third Indy/Raiders firearm?

Thoughts?

I had placed an order for the gun belt and whip holder, and called the next day to add to the order. I was told, probably by Todd (didn't ask who I was talking to), that they were waiting on new buckles to be cast within a day or two. Maybe he ran out again, and that's why the gun belts are delayed ...

I'd agree with you...except for the fact that Todd's got better looking (and based on past experiences...better built) holsters for $29.95 (as opposed to $48 or $38 respectively). Just my opinion, OMMV.
