Re: Is Herbert Johnson the holy grail of indy fedoras now?

My basic philosophy with the Indy hat is that because Ford was a 58, the sweet spot in terms of *extreme* screen accuracy is in the 57-58-59 range. 60 and above or 56 and below and you're generally going to have to make some concessions somewhere. But at least too high is easily tweaked with a shot...

Re: Is Herbert Johnson the holy grail of indy fedoras now?

Thank you for clearing things up Michelle, and I’m sorry for spreading misinformation. Not your fault my friend. I did have words with the management over the offer text not being clear enough. Not to worry as there will indeed be other offers to come. Stay tuned! And I am always thankful for Indy ...

Re: Great article about the history of the Jones fedora

I also find it weird that every hat would hat IJ embossed on all leather sweatbands and for that to be making it difficult to find THE Raiders fedora. Would the Raiders fedora have had anything like that on it? I can easily see the hats after that with that on it but from Raiders? GREAT article and...

Thanks Howard! Glad the videos are helpful. I get asked the same questions frequently and find that it is sometimes much harder to get a concept across in words or using still photographs. Videos bridge that gap. Let me know if you guys would like any topics covered and I will see what I can do to h...

Michaelson nothing would please me more to announce that I had heard report of monies taken had been returned to those people out of pocket and components with HJ branding and other items returned to the company. I would fully support these actions.

Re: Jack formerly of HJ selling counterfeit fedoras?

It is true that the fired ex-employee going by the alias of ‘Jack’ posted on his own social media site with images in the month of August 2019 the intention to take money for making a hat branded with the components shown in the images he posted. Those images were of HJ owned and branded items. This...

Good morning all I have a copy of this catalogue here in the Herbert Johnson workshop. The catalogue was printed during the current Swaine Adeney ownership and the cover dates this between 1996-1998.
