Re: Leather treatment fo jackets

Ok thanks for all of the input. First my jacket is dark but don't want it any darker and I did get it destressed to be SA and it is spot on perfect best jacket I have seen for a LC thanks again to Diego, but don't want to change it just keep it clean and preserved. So if this helps clarify what I am...

Leather treatment for jackets

I own two great Steele and Jones jackets, hats of to Diego for his workmanship and help. One is a Raiders in thin cowhide and the other is their movie perfect replica LC Jacket and their great horsehide, a girlfriend of mine wants this jacket, LOL. I know some people have mentioned Pecards but which...

Re: Steele and Jones standard horsehide wait begins.

Ok got my LC chocolate pre-destressed horsehide jacket and really like it wish I had still gotten a little long in front but other than that perfect and plenty of room to layer under it without it looking to big is not layering. I have some pics to post anyone know of a hosting sight many of the old...

Re: Steele and Jones standard horsehide wait begins.

I got their premium chocolate horse hide which is not real thick but not sure its thin either. It looks great got the pre destressed too and from pictures Diego sent me it looks like it came off Indy himself. They really do the best jackets I think.

Re: Steele and Jones standard horsehide wait begins.

Looks good. My concern with my Raiders was the length I still think it is a little short on me but other than that I love it. Diego tells me its a short jacket style and I'm not used to that so maybe, but I don't see me getting use to it. I have a LC that I should be getting any day now I had him ma...

Very Nice I wished mine was as long on me as yours. I know its a short style jacket according to Diego but I have never totally gotten used to it. My LC is on the way and had him make it longer hope its long enough and looks like yours.

Re: My New Zealand Lambskin HERO Raiders

I like the length of the jacket front and back myself its how I want mine to look I might have to tell Diego to look at your pics before he starts my LC. I feel like my Raiders was a little short although Diego and everyone else says that is the style of the Raiders and that it looked good on me fro...

Re: My New Zealand Lambskin HERO Raiders

Wow that looks amazing might be the best Raiders jacket I have ever seen and the fit is perfect too. I assume he took your measurements while you were there and that is why it fits so nicely? I have ordered a LC from Steele and Jones and I hope it fits me as nice as that one does you.

Re: STEELE & JONES '38

Just ordering my Cazadora 38 in Premium Chocolate Horsehide for Diego. It will be my winter jacket since I already own a thin cowhide Cazadora 36 which is perfect for Fall and Spring. He is going to make it slightly bigger and looser so I can wear sweatshirt and layer under it. Once I get it in few ...

Re: Need help deciding on my Steele & Jones Cazadora '36

I have one in thin cowhide because of durability and cost, Diego had special clearance on it, I love mine light was perfect for spring and fall. They are pretty good at getting fit correct based on measurements and work is top notch you can't go wrong with them. I know you want screen accuracy and t...

I don't have the skin you have, I have thin cowhide, but love it and you will love yours too they make the best jacket in my opinion especially if you factor in price. I am going to order a LC later for winter use before winter time.

Steele and Jones thin cowhide jacket

Guess my other post was deleted because I posted it on thin horsehide post again sorry. I like my jacket though its taking sometime to get used to how short it is on me. Other than that it fits perfect although if I wanted to where heavier sweat shirt or layer under it would need to be at least on s...

Re: Best Indy style jacket

I live along the Ohio River in Western KY on boarder with IN. It can get cold here but this year global warming has made it have record highs in 60 and 70 with only a few days in the 20's. So Heavy Cowhide over Horse or Goat or maybe a heavy Lamb if there is such a thing. I would like it to look SA ...

Wow thanks for all of the advice and comments, if my Raiders comes out as nice as I hope I may order a LC from Diego since everyone seems to think their LC is one of the best. Best Indy style jacket

Need advice buying my first Indy Jacket

I am new to all of this and have read a lot of info about most of the different jackets out there and need some advice. I am on a budget so I think that alone eliminates the some of the more expensive brands. Right now the Todd jackets are out and can't find a Nowak even if I could afford one and fo...
