Very nice!
That color caught my eye as well. Very rich looking.
Like that handle shape too.

Thanks a lot for your positive feedback!!
starting from naturaly tan to get this color I used braiding soap and a mixture of brown and blond shellac.

I really like the shape of the heel knot and the proportions of the handle - knots, it looks very indy in my opinion.
Good work as usual gio!
In the first picture, is it where a belly ended that I see, or is it where you stopped binding ( there's an area where it appears
some stiffness let's off suddenly )? It's about 1.5 ft. down the thong, maybe a little more.

riku1914: I did not understand the question. What do you mean exactly?

It was more a question to gio than you, but there is an area where the whip suddenly looses stiffness. It's either where he stopped
some really tight binding, or where a belly ended.

Ok, I'm sorry.
I think that Giovanni Celeste can't answer at this time. When he can, will answer for sure. Anyway I asked a Giovanni a thong little more often and I think that It's the end of the bolster, but I'm not sure..

I doubt a bolster would go that short, unless you're referring to the core, which I don't think the core ending would cause that.

Hi there,
first of all I apologize for my absence but I've been in Scotland for our honeymoon!!!!
Thanks again for your compliment always welcome. I finally find time to respond.
This whip was made according the standard construction,

honestly I remember that whip present a constant stiffness along the thong.
at the same time I agree with Riku about the first pic but I think it's a question of how the whip was rolled slightly beyond its natural curvature.
I hope this can be useful
