It looks way better! A lot nicer on the eyes. Now if he would just change that terrible Comic Sans type face, it would look so much better!
Even Helvetica would be better (little graphic designer joke)

Now THAT'S a good looking website! WELL done.
By the way, and I've already emailed Peter and Gemma and received NO replies what so ever....anyone have any idea why they no longer offer or show their Aliens jacket anymore?
That was my youngest daughters favorite film series, and her all time favorite jacket.

Yeah scrap the excess bolding, make the text smaller on the product pages and remove the Comic Sans font and we have a winner.

My friend, you've been working with toys too long. You need a vacation. Maybe to someplace like Geneva. I'll send you some brochures via Courier.

Reminds me of the down with Comic Sans website. Such a terrible font. I had a typography teacher, who hated it so much. I remember a student made a mockup with comic sans, the teacher was so disgusted that he used comic sans he ripped it up, and made them start over again! He wasn't super rude/mean about, did it in a joking way, but made sure, no dice on the comic sans again.

That's a great website, I really like the moving film reel in the corner. I have to agree abt. the product pages font choice though, but I am a graphic designer. Anyone heard of the font giddiyup?

It is nicer, but it would also benefit from a few spell-checks.

Sculls vs. Skulls.
By the way, they're almost giving the "Mutt" jackets away.

They should finally change the special request box to a proper large one, the current one is tiny.

Sure it does, but it has a maximum length of 240 characters and it's only one row. In technical terms make it a <textarea> element instead of an <input> one.

Two fonts walk into a bar. The bartender says: "I'm sorry, we don't serve your type here."

Awesome joke!
So, I logged into wested.com today, and to my surprise... no more Comic Sans! Just a nice serif type face now. Looks so much cleaner and nicer!

Site does look good, more user friendly. Problem is they don't have pics of the different colors, which I believe they used to.

Under custom made, what's the difference between 'Raiders' and "Custom ROLA'? Both are the same price and seem to have the same features, options, etc.

Generally:
Raiders means facings, heavier brass zip away from the bottom of the jacket, deeper pleats, more forgiving (looser) in the body.
ROLA means, tighter cut, no facings, small gauge silver zipper closer to the bottom of the jacket, narrower pleats.

Gotcha, of course if I read the whole description that would've helped.
Which one do people tend to get?

Good pretty modern layout for this new site. A good start!
But I hope they'll update soon all item descriptions and pics, or the site changes will be only aesthetic...

$175 for the special offer goat Raiders jacket?! Thats awesome. I may have to pick one up. I really like the new layout as well. Much more professional than their old website, in my opinion.

I noticed the prices seem cheaper if you do US currency than GBP with the conversion. A custom ROLA with shipping comes to $260.85. But 190 GBP (the conversion according to xe.com) is $270.482. Is this because of the VAT?

Probably because of the outdated conversion rate on Wested's site.
