The nail-biting wait begins....

I didn't get a shipping notice from Wested, and I don't know of anyone who ever has... so don't expect one. However, if you're talking about Todd's (his jackets were just mentioned, after all), then yes, you'll get a shipping notice.indy13 wrote:I placed my custom order on October 16th (by phone). I did see that my credit card was charged so I believe my order is moving forward. Will I receive any kind of confirmation when my jacket is finished or shipped? Or will the jacket just arrive sometime after the 21 days I was told it would take to make it?
Sorry I should have been more clear. I ordered a Wested.Chewbacca Jones wrote:I didn't get a shipping notice from Wested, and I don't know of anyone who ever has... so don't expect one. Having read this posting I decided to look into this and it has taken some time to sort it as the only clue to your identity is Nevada. My order does feel like an odd leap of faith. Because of our respective locations (Kent and Nevada) I had to make a very early in the morning call (my time) to get a phone order in during their hours. I spoke to a girl who was clearly ready to go home and not particularly happy to hear from me. I placed my order and gave them my CC #. I sent an email later that day which was never responded to. I called the next day (I think) and was told it was processing. Other than my card being charged I have no information to prove the transaction occurred. I don't have an order #. Apparently I won't be called or emailed anywhere along the way. Frankly, if it wasn't for this board and the # of people who have successfully received their jackets I doubt I would have placed an order with a company with such questionable communication.
That's all very well and good, but I still don't have the 4 sliders I was promised for my stonewashed denim Indy-- I only received 2. And they were mailed to me one at a time. There's no excuse for service like that.PETER wrote:Having read this posting I decided to look into this and it has taken some time to sort it as the only clue to your identity is Nevada. My order does feel like an odd leap of faith. Having looked through the orders I found yours which on the Address says Sparks, no state which I now find is in Nevada with no contact no and no email address.
It would appear that your order was taken by a member of staff who thought they were helping as Gemma was busy and I was in Italy but in the finish they did not take contact details and you did not give them .
I can find no trace of your email.
I can understand people wanting to phone in their order but a properly filled in order form gets an email reply confirming the order no and processing and the proof is in Black & White and there is no argument as to what was ordered.
When the order is despatched with the email address on it a notification is automatically sent by Parcelforce, no email address no notice.
Contrary to what Bufflehead says plenty have had this and there are postings to that effect.
I would also add for those who keep waving the stick that we are sending out more than 150 items a week, most of them jackets and in the last month we have had 6 returns 3 of which were wrong size ordered.
In the last 3 months 16. Last 6 Months 2600 sent 28 returned for various reasons. So although it may seem on COW that we have a lot on a ratio basis we have very few compared to others who have a very low production and still get returns. Nobody is perfect.
Cheers

It took you almost 3 months to answer my last PM, which was a simple question you could have answered in a couple of words.PETER wrote:There is nothing defective about the denim jacket just the sliders you wanted extra which have now sent two sets at our expence - no charge. You keep saying you have not received them. Surely you do not beleive we would send you a single slider and then when you say you only got 1 we send you 1 again. Are you telling the truth or is this just another knock Wested fairy tale or have you a postman with a fettish for sliders.
Gemma says the last lot of four she posted were fastened with sellotape.
If they are not getting to you it is NOT our fault. Was the packet damaged or tampered with? Is it a metal object in post thing? I dont know.
I do know they were posted two packs of four.
Shall we try again? PM me.

It's just not the same dressing up without the jacket.
So Indiana G, I guess we won't be able to put the beat down on any custom officers.![]()
Well I'm gonna go cry into my fedora for a while

Thank you for looking that up and I hope you received my contact info under the email you provided. Before placing my phone order I did try repeatedly to send it through the email on your website but I kept getting an error message saying the email was not found.PETER wrote:Having read this posting I decided to look into this and it has taken some time to sort it as the only clue to your identity is Nevada. My order does feel like an odd leap of faith.
