It's a shade of brown...
Anyone else got anything?
What's wrong with the guy's chin, btw? It looks like the model didn't have any stubble, so they just repainted half his face in photoshop.

Here's how that went:Indiana Joyce wrote:What's with the ring? Is he the Shadow? The Phantom? GREEN LANTERN???
Oh my god! I didn't even notice that until you mentioned it and I looked back again!Pitfall Harry wrote:I guess they only had enough material to make one long knit cuff on that jacket.![]()
In defense of this awful jacket, it looks like the cuff on his right wrist has simply rolled over itself, while the left wrist is pulled tight. This happens on my A2 all the time.Pitfall Harry wrote:I guess they only had enough material to make one long knit cuff on that jacket.![]()
You think?Bigfoot wrote:If you squint really hard and back away from the computer screen about 50 feet, then it is kinda reminiscent of an Indy outfit, maybe.![]()
OMG, why haven't I seen this one before? THAT. IS. HORRENDOUS.To me the costume on this link still takes the crown

The sad part is...the girls costume is more accurate (if only slightly). If I were to encounter one of these costumes in a dark room, THIS is the one I would hope to find.Mark Brody wrote:Hmm, it appears you're right. They have a girl's costume, too![]()

Todd, I'm glad you approve of Indy's belly button. I probably would have just admired it in silence, but good for you, man!_ wrote:I don't care - it's PERFECT!Mark Brody wrote:I don't remember, did Indy have his belly button pierced?

No! Simply no! They had to find a moran who gets high on something to stand there in 'that' costume for photos. A few goooooood whif's and he was saying: "Wow...ok photo-dude-type-person...how da I looks?" W>Hollowpond wrote:For real. This costumes are terrible, but the models are WORSE.Seriously? You couldn't find a better guy to model this than the guy who is pumping out your septic tank?
How about this one!_ wrote:That "gear" is perfect. I see NOTHING wrong with ANYTHING. There's something about that - I can't quite put my finger on it???Mark Brody wrote:Hmm, it appears you're right. They have a girl's costume, too![]()

I really agree with you on that, as those are ridiculous costumesFaustianSlip wrote:
People are crazy.
The difference to me is that at least in the case of someone who opts to spend however much on a nicer, more screen accurate hat or jacket or whatever, they've made a conscious decision to prioritize screen accuracy, and you're actually getting something for your money (i.e. an actual, hand-crafted hat, jacket, whatever). Those costumes are at least fifty or sixty dollars, and for your money you get a plastic jacket and a manpurse, neither of which are ever likely to be used again. And if you don't care about perfect accuracy, you can very likely find nicer items that are closer to the real thing in your local thrift shop (and will probably be cheaper).j2m wrote:but in one way are we not the crazy ones trying to always be as screen accurate as possible, even if that means big amout of cash on a nice fedora, whip or jacket....
