With my heart still in the doldrums after the news of Tony passing and possibly never getting the chance to own a piece of his art. I was wondering what do you guys think is the best alternative for a CS jacket? I have been seriously considering the US Wings collectors edition. I know there are threads already out there about the jacket itself. But wanted your opinions on where is the best place to obtain a quality CS jacket now.

I'd go with Wings. They have the CS fit down to the tee, IMO. As well as the color.

Not only that, but their leather source is exactly the same company/tannery that Tony used for his CS jacket.

Yep, the 'do nothing right now' approach is also a viable alternative.

I'd agree with a wings CE jacket being a very good CS version.

COW member "IndianaSean", if I recall correctly, and if it is still applicable, there is a $100.00 discount on the Collectors Edition Signature Series Indy-Style Adventurer jacket. In order to receive the discount, you must mention that you are a COW member.
But, considering the post from COW member "Han Jones".....I would hold off on the purchase.

If you want to go a US Wings on its own merit - sure, go ahead.
But I think Han conveyed the message better than I did. Oh, wait, I think it was because I didn't do this:

"Yojimbo Jones", I "noticed" your post along with "Michaelson". As you mentioned, "Han Jones" conveyed the message a bit more...."open".

Very good. But if the "waiting" wears thin, or does not result in something you like, the Wings jacket is outwardly your best choice.
