I really like the wrinkled, worn look it's getting! That looks fantastic! I wish it would rain more often here, so mine could do that. Stupid California weather...
And about the shirt, I have one just like that one, and I also have a gray one with a distressed logo. ...oh, and a Bizarro shirt. Nice jacket though!
and heres me wearin it, please bear in mind my illness and weightloss and excuse the comfy trousers, and im not superman.
i hope your illness is nothing serious.
wested's jackets are waaaaay too spotless when you first get them. if you want to wear them that way, you can't go wrong with wested or g&b. if you want a worn-in jacket, it looks like you are on the right path my friend.
if you wish to further reduce the shine, rub the jacket down with rubbing alcohol. it will give you a nice matte finish and put another couple of years on her without comprimising the construction.
That is really looking good. On the few Westeds I've had, I'll wear them around a bit with that new look, then I have to wash them and get them broken in a little.
I'm all for natural distressing but some leather looks--plasticy at first. It's good to get them looking like, well, leather.

You mentioned loss of weight and being cold......what a chance to get a brown shawl collar sweater and wool scarf and go with the whole " Mystery of the Blues " look.........(.grin ) Hatch
Indiana Holt wrote:he's just jealous of the shirt..we all know that ''the batman'' cant fly ;-)
Holt have you had the oppurtunity to see the last two Batman movies? He seems to fly pretty well in those. ;-)
That is a great looking jacket Adey and the distressing is coming along nicely. I love the shirt as well, I have one similar with the "SuperMan Returns" logo instead of the classic logo. I love many of the props and movies we can see in the background of your photo's.
I hope you do get your health issues "sorted" as you say. I have a couple of family members that deal with epilepsy and know that it can be problematic.
The jacket is looking really cool man. Here's to a speedy sorting out of all of your health problems. A bit of Indyness is always good for what ails ya.
thankyou, coming here is very helpfull as it is keeping my brain active and everyone is really helpfull and nice. on top of being ill my boss sacked me the other day so im getting ready for a legal fight lol.
i wore my jacket out today and it was great to walk around in it, somehow it makes you feel good hard to explain.
ahh the han solo blasters, they are master replicas, i have the a new hope version and the empire version, along with a load of other star wars master replicas, i bought them a few years ago now. My room is full of my favorite possesions.
