ahhh...your first pair of aldens....what a great feeling of slapping those puppies on your feet. indiana jones' official boot. many come close but nothing beats the real mccoy.
i still wear my first pair and though they are the least expensive of my 405's.....they are the most comfortable by far. i don't get it, but they are. they've treaded on new york pavement in a chilly spring, jamaican sand, mountain trails......they are just saturated with memories. i hope yours will treat you just as good. cheers.
Sorry...didn't know anyone would want to see pics of another pair!
Here they are on my kitchen table, where all good shoes should be.
one with flash...one without

A bunch of us are Alden Junkies so yes we do love our pix fix...
Kidding...Very nice shoes and they will serve you well...
Great boots . Wear them well. I love my Aldens . I wear my boots a few times a week and I had them for around 3 years . They are worth every penny. I would like to have another pair. But I can't wear out the first pair. My wife said your boots still look good . Why buy another pair. But you guys know that we can't have enough Indy gear. 2 pairs are better then one.
Those are great looking boots. I am curious about the stitching around the the top of the part that covers the foot (whatever it's called). Is there a seam that one with hammertoes can rub their toe knuckles against? I've had boots with a seam there, and it can be painful.
Thanks, Ken.
That stitching is partly cosmetic, and I beleive it also holds the liner in the toe area as well.
Best bet is to send a PM to Schmidty and see what he says...
If I wasn't wearing mine right nw, I'd take a look inside for you!
Alden has another model, same last (same boot really) in black with no toe stitching. But, we Indy fans like the toe stitching as it is a bit iconic as it was used this way in the movie... ;-)
