A very good member here by the name of Wrightknife - sold me his Akubra Fed - regular and let me just say.... the hat.... is pure love
After owning a Dorfman for 10 years this is a real treat - it's truly Fantastic -
The first Bash was done by Wrightknife but I added my own Raidersy Pinch - though I didn't feel the need to add the turn... yet.
** and Don't just look! Give me some input - let me know what you think!
Heres the pics:
(hope it's not too big)

Nice hat man, now that is a real improvement isn´t it
In the pictures in which you are wearing specs, you look like Johnny Depp in the secret window

It looks really nice like it fits you just right. What a great hat, I bet you're glad to have it it's such a step up from a DP. I know 'cause that's what I started with too, good old

Thanks for the compliments guys- it's like a breath of fresh air having the Akubra.
And yeah Max my friends call those glasses my secret window glasses - hey if I can't look like Harrison Ford I can settle for Depp

The hat looks brilliant, and really suits you!
I just got my first Akubra today too, I bought one second hand off Mufflowne on this forum (and I have to say, he was brilliant about the whole thing). And I too had never seen one or handled a fur felt hat. I had a wool fedora (not an Indy hat, I had used it in a film), and step up is incredible. Mine's a Deluxe, but I'm sure it's pretty similar. (I'd post pics, but I don't wanna steal the thunder in your thread!).
In fact, it's so high quality it makes me think an AB must actually be some kind of God of Hatting, considering it's like the same leap again!

I'm so happy for you it really seems you love the hat and should have lots of good times wearing it...
