I made the plunge and ordered the Federation from Hates Direct. I placed the order online and then called and talked to Ron last night to verify size. He is one heck of a nice guy and very helpful. I tried to get him to shape the hat for me to get it close, but he didn't feel comfortable in doing that, so when it arrives I will be looking for help on techniques.
I guess it want be as hard as I thought. I'm not looking for an exact Indy look just a close resemblance, so it will probably be even easier for me as I'm not looking for perfection, just what I think looks good on me.
