It was mentioned that the pics in this thread were missing, so here is one. This is the Indy hat I designed for Stetson's 150th anniversary. Specs are above. The gray version has a slightly wider ribbon, per the one seen in the Clipper scene in Raiders. Stetson Fortune and Glory in Tobacco beaver fu...

I had a long conversation with a cobbler about the feet once when I was in London. Germans tend to have squared off foreheads (Frankenstein monster like) which in turn broug...

I'd have to vote four-in-hand. That knot is too narrow to look like a windsor. Besides, anything else is too fussy for indy, and we all know James Bond only wears four-in-hands when he wears neckties instead of bowties, and Bond is his father. http://image3.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/___...

Re: Proper wearing of Raiders trousers
I took some pretty good frame by frame looks. That's the button sewn to the fabric which is underneath the fly. You can see the two layers above rippling. The button should be in between them... buttoned.
Go through it frame by frame.
Means you have to unbutton one guys.

When I was griping about the front to back taper of the Indy4 hat, Steve Delk mentioned that all the hats in Indy 4 were reblocked by Baron hats. Perhaps it was another "Australian model" just in black without a dimensional cut yet still cut down and a bound edge added. To me it always looked like a cut down brim. Cut down from a wider more curved brim... in turn making it look a little flatter than what you'd find on a vintage hat....

Just can't beat that gray hat from Raiders Wider ribbon than the brown hats, and I think the band is a charcoal gray rather than a black.
