I've been looking at the Wested Raiders jackets too. Initially I was just going to order their Raiders of Lost Ark Leather Jacket in Brown Lambskin, and I was going to order a 36" chest. But then I got looking at the Legacy Hero jacket and Hero Raiders jacket. When reading the info for their He...
I just came across Make it Jones's website the other day. I was blown away by the quality, and will definitely be placing an order in the near future. I'm just trying to get my hands on an Adventurebilt buckle.
Ah, I didn't know about that German site or any previous archives. However, if anybody has requests for specific caps, I'll be glad to accommodate them. Cheers Hi, I would love to see some high res pics of these, they are from the idol scene at the beginning or Raiders when Indy is running away fro...
Hi Guys, I don't make it into the Whip section that often, so I apologise in advance. I see a few screen shots from Raiders have been posted, and some screen used whip photos have been posted. I was hoping someone might be able to email me whip screen shots from the first three Indy films, along wit...
Hey irishjones, Michael is correct, those straps are dark brown!! However years ago when I first started looking, I also thought the ToD strap was black. I managed to get a very nice black leather bag strap from Indy Magnoli, the only thing I changed was the buckle on it, which I replaced with a Rai...
It probably is too obsure, but does anyone know how the real knife prop was acquired? Yeah, it is only in the scene for a few seconds, but just wondered if it might have been a member of the cast or crew's knife that was borrowed for that scene, etc.? I'm sure there was something written about that...
I love my Linder knife, real nice quality and very accurate prop replica... The only thing on mine is the stag handle is quite a bit lighter than the one on screen, but apart from that it's a great addition to my collection!
Have you spoken to Todd's about your issues yet? I can see the biggest issue here being the zig zag stitching apposed to the double shirred elastic wrist...
If you haven't already I would drop them an email and I am sure they will sort you straight out!!
Here's a pic of my Joe Strain, about a year old. Started out Natural Tan and has already begun to darken up beautifully as a result of some Pecards, sunshine and use! :D http://i673.photobucket.com/albums/vv94/tundrarider/009.jpg Thanks for the informative post and great photos! Michael :TOH: Hey M...
Great work my friend!! This thread was a very interesting read, I always like to see progress pics and description to accompany and then final display pics like you have done with the bag, fedora, gloves and diary!!
Stupidly after I asked the question a did find a few pics!! Must of missed your thread though Jens. It's a great looking shirt which hopefully one day will be on my list!
I wouldn't take much of the information in that link as Gospel Geordie OK, thanks! For me it was just good to see the collection of screen grabs. What about this link: http://filmjackets.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8 Can someone please tell me if the two following jackets are film used jackets and if...
Hey guys, Got to say I like this thread! The LC Jacket has to be my favourite!!! So far I've mainly hung around the Prop Replicating and General Prop Discussion sections of the forum and don't have any Indy Gear except a few web belts and a bag... got some catching up to do I know  I'm sure mo...
I got some Wells Lamont 1123 gloves from the same guy that sold these gloves. They were spot on :!: Had the correct cotton cuff stitching and logo on them. Due to a recent cash flow problem I was forced to sell them. :( Anyway hoping to get more funds in the near future so I can continue my Indy gea...
Hey Whiskyman, Congrats on selling your whip, I knew you would have no problem selling it :!: Looks like I need to put buying a whip on hold just for now, just landed a few unexpected bills, you know how it goes... Thanks for all the help guys and I'll let you know how I get on when I get sorted wit...
Hey, Thanks for all the calculations Tony :!: That's why I posted this topic, I know from past experiences you can get totally hammered with taxes and charges, I just wasn't sure how much it would be. Aviator - You're not wrong about only 2 things being cerftain in life - death & taxes!! Ha Ha H...
I am hoping to be ordering a David Morgan whip over the next few weeks and was wondering if many of you got hit with crazy import taxes and if so do you have any suggestions before placing an order??
I know Steve is extremely busy, he already has something like 900 emails to get through!!!! Not too sure on Lee, all I can say is be patient or see if any of your questions have already been answered in the forum.
Hey, So I am not alone! I feel so much better now :!: Ha Ha Ken I think your fedora looks fine, I think you may run this risk if you have the brim trimmed of knocking the proportions all out of sync if you know what I mean. I think the thing is with the Indy fedora the crown is so tall, for us pea h...
Hey guys, Thanks for the help! Ken, could you please post some pics of your AB Fedora on your head detailing the specs? I have seen many fedora's on COW and would like to comment on a couple I have recently seen. When looking at McFly's fedora, and with absolutely no disrespect to him, but for me pe...
Hey, Sorry if this has been covered before and I have missed the thread! I just measured my head and am a 54 - 55 max, which is a pea size of a head for a guy I know! Ha Ha Does anyone have any recommendation on choosing a fedora for such a small head. I would really like an AB or AB Deluxe but need...
